The Ritzville Downtown Development Association produces and hosts the annual Western Art Show to help celebrate public art and attract attention to the city's efforts to revitalize its downtown through the use of art. |

ArtworkArtists submit artwork to the Western Art Show Executive Committee for use in all event publicity materials. The 2009 Western Art Show posters featured an original by Fred Oldfield completed in 2009. In addition, Oldfield's artwork donned promotional post cards provided to registered artists. Cowboy Cartoonist International (CCI) member Jim Lisk provided an original piece for promotional post cards provided to registered CCI artists as well as other artists. Both post card designs were sent to area galleries and distributed locally prior to the 2009 show. |
